The Learning Center is a multi -faceted resource center that provides comprehensive academic support for the diverse learning needs of SCCC students/staff/faculty as well as members of the community at large.

We realize that, along the path to a certificate or degree, many students face various obstacles and challenges. Our job in the Learning Center is to help you navigate and overcome these obstacles.  We provide instructional support to all students including tutoring, computers, tips on technology and information on how to connect with college and community support systems.

1. Struggling getting your thoughts organized for a paper?

Drop in for a group tutor session in WRITING – no forms to complete, no appointments needed.  Just check out our “Open Writing Tutoring Schedule” and attend the session that is convenient for you.  It’s FREE!
Sign up for your own personal weekly tutor. It’s FREE!

2. Algebra may as well be a foreign language – it makes no sense!

Drop in for a group tutor session in MATH – no forms to complete, no appointments needed. Just check out our “Open Math Tutoring Schedule” and attend the sessions that are convenient for you. It’s FREE!
Look for our workshops on “Math Anxiety.”  Flyers will be posted around campus and available in the Learning Center. It’s FREE!

3. Do you have a disability which requires accommodation?
