Virtual Summer Camp offered

5/12/2020 8:27:23 AM

Students are on a Zoom call with 2 instructors from the Black Rocket organization.

The fun must go on! Though health guidelines in the coming weeks will preclude on-campus gatherings, Sussex County Community College is continuing to show its dedication to offering young learners ages 8-14 interactive, fun activities this summer through virtual summer camps!

Joining forces with Black Rocket, a national leader in tech-education that encourages students to “Launch Your Creativity,” the originally planned on-campus experiences will now be held comfortably from campers’ own homes.

The STEAM-based camps are led by top teachers in live classes and cover topics ranging from coding to eSports. Participants will get to interact with fellow learners all over the country and break away into small groups.

Course offerings include video game design:

Each camp is $149 per session, per student. Some classes have an additional $10 licensing fee. Software information and class links will be provided upon registration.
