Sussex County Community College is looking for qualified applicants to teach future sections in our Education program, Fall 2024 – part time, mornings- in person.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree or related degree in Childhood Education and in Special Education or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations; expertise in teaching Childhood Education and Special Education, online/remote teaching, advanced certifications, or license, and a flexible schedule (morning, afternoon, and possible evening). Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills needed. 3+ years of applicable experience and prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
The Learning Management System (LMS) that we use for our online and remote teaching is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or similar learning platform is preferred. Although not a requirement, strong technical and computer proficiency is recommended.
