Adjunct - Environmental Science

Job Description

Sussex County Community College seeks adjunct/part-time lecture and lab instructors for courses in environmental science and sustainability. Course descriptions can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/mryc2bkd. This is a pooled position; qualified applicants will be contacted as positions become available. Environmental science courses are offered both on campus (days/evenings/weekends) and online.

Responsibilities of adjunct instructors include teaching assigned courses using a departmentally established course outline and assessing course learning outcomes. Lab instructors are expected to collaborate with lecture faculty and laboratory staff to provide a vibrant, cohesive learning experience for a diverse student population.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in an appropriate discipline required. Prior college/university teaching experience preferred.
