Returning Student

We are excited to welcome you back to campus. A college education is critical, now more than ever. It’s time to get back on track and finish the degree you started.

Returning students are those students who have taken classes at Sussex in the past, and took a semester or more break from their schedule.

Follow these simple Steps:

1. Fill out an Application for Admissions: You must submit a new Application for Admissions to ensure we have your most up-to-date information. Under Admissions Status, please choose Re-Admit.

A returning student who has attended another institution since leaving Sussex must request that an official transcript (from each school they attended) be sent directly to Sussex.

2. Seek Advisement: Make an appointment with an Advisor in the Student Success Center to review courses previously taken and plan your academic goals and objectives. Use this link to Book an Appointment or call 973-300-2207.

3. File for Financial Aid: Visit https://studentaid.gov/ to apply. The Sussex School Code is 025688. Once you complete your FAFSA and register for classes, contact the Financial Aid Office to determine the status of your aid, at 973-300-2225.

4. Pay your tuition: Tuition payments can be made online or in person. Students can sign up for an Interest-free Payment Plan. Contact the Bursar’s Office, bursar@sussex.edu, 973-300-2106.

Things have changed since you left. Make sure you check the Academic programs being offered.

It's that simple! We look forward to seeing you back on campus soon.
